RACE COURSES:
PROFI category: Course length app. 85 km, (MTB, orienteering, trekking, kayaks, ST)
OPEN category: Course length app. 40 km, (MTB, orienteering, trekking, kayaks, ST)
Race time limit for both courses – 12 hours.

RACE SCHEDULE:
Friday
15.00 – 20.00 – registration of the participants in race office;
20.00 – 20.30 -race briefing for Kompas AR
Saturday
07.00 – race briefing for the teams which were absent during the one on Friday;
08.00 – 9.00 – start of the „SALOMON TRAIL RUNNING” race – app. 8 km (it is also the first stage – prologue of Kompas AR);
12.00 – beginning of the handicap start to KOMPAS Adventure Race;
21.00 – race course closing;
21:30 – the prize giving ceremony, ARCUP 2008 final remarks, banquet;
24:00 – closing of the finish line;
Sunday
11:00 running competition „BIEG NA WIEC” on the Drzewina – Nowy Wiec course.
Different race categories, also family category.
14:00 end of the competition, prize giving ceremony
15:00 leaving the race headquarters

ACCOMODATION:
A camping place in the race headquarters on Friday and Saturday night (Przystanek Drzewina) is included in the race entry fee. There will be showers and toilets available.
There is also other type of accommodation available:


In the race headquarters (Przystanek Drzewina) in 6,8.10 or 12 person rooms with bathrooms on bunk beds (app. 50 places) – price PLN 25/person/night
In the race headquarters in the gym hall (up to 50 places) with karimat and sleeping bag – price PLN10/person/night
In „Noce i Dnie” Pension – app. 5 km away from the race headquarters www.noceidnie.com

PARTICIPATION, CATEGORIES:
competition during the race will take place on two courses: PROFI, OPEN;
- PROFI course is for two person teams ( two men – MM or woman and man – MIX), OPEN course – regardless of gender;
- PROFI and OPEN course are both part of ARCUP 2008, additionally there is also Salomon Trail Running series;
Only adults, who are at least 18 years old may compete on PROFI and OPEN course. Individuals over the age of 16 will be allowed to participate on condition of presenting permission in writing from parents or tutors.

RACE REGISTRATION
In order to take part in the race a participant needs to fulfill the following conditions:
a) fill in the registration form, which can be found on the race website (registration form) or register in person in the race headquarters (during registration before the start),
b) pay the race entry fee before the start of the race in the amount stated in the Race Regulations. The original proof of payment should be kept for evidence during the registration.
c) sign the Waiver before the start.
d) Each participant after arriving in the race headquarters should confirm his/her participation in the race.

RACE ENTRY FEE
Final date for registration: 15th of September 2008.
Profi – PLN 200,00 /team (for those registered before the deadline), PLN 250,00/team (for those registered after the deadline)
Open – PLN 140,00 /team (for those registered before the deadline), PLN 170,00 (for those registered after the deadline)
a) Entry fee paid after the 15th of September 2008 cannot guarantee all the services.
b) The entry fee will not be paid back to those, who haven’t finished the race or haven’t participated in the race.
c) The race course or the race itself can be a subject to a change or cancellation and any claims regarding the entry fee return in that case will be dismissed.
d) In the case of race cancellation before the start of the race, the participants can claim the entry fee return.
e) Entry fee payment can be made either as a bank transfer to the Organizer’s bank account or in cash in the race office.
f) For the bank transfer purposes please give the title of the payment: „wpisowe na
KOMPAS AR + TEAM’S NAME”.
g) Organizer is not responsible for the dates of the bank transfers. The only criterion for the acceptance of the bank transfers is the date of the first presence of the payment at the Organizer’s bank account.

SERVICES
The race entry fee covers:
- camping places in the race headquarters (Przystanek Drzewina) on Friday and Saturday night (10th and 11th of October) . There will be also showers and toilets available at place;
- race T-shirt;
- starting numbers and bibs;
- participation in the dinner and prize giving ceremony at the end of the race;
- water in TAs (1,5 L /team)
- equipment transport to TAs;
- maps and race materials;
- rescue team,
- race crew and referees,
- special task equipment,
- trophies, race certificates and product prizes for the best in each category,
- other services depending on the Organizer’s abilities.
