The team entering the finish line in Skoki near Poznan on Sunday 6th of April at 7 a.m. was the last one on the 120 km long Profi and 45 km long Open course. Thus, the first race of Adventure Racing Cup - Wertepy race organized by HKS Hades, came to an end with quite an unusual in adventure racing result – all the 52 teams competing on the course completed the race!

It all started on the sunny, saturday morning with 7 km long Salomon Trail Running race leading through sand, forest paths and boggy terrain. A special attraction of the course was a swampy meadow with chilly water above the ankles.

The run was a prologue to the proper race. Counting along the optimal route choices, the Profi course consisted of 6 km long inline skating stage, 74 km of biking, 12 km of kayaking and 26 km of trekking. The rubble roads, bushy paths, swamps and fast current of the Warta River were all there. The rope bridge definitely favored those with long arms and the climbing wall to be climbed in hard, mountain biking shoes was the last obstacle before the finish line.

The Open category course, created especially for those who only now are getting involved in adventure racing, consisted of 25 km of biking, 2 km of kayaking and 18 km of trekking. So it is even more of a pleasure, that also in this category all the teams have reached the finish line.
